What Clear Recovery Center’s Virtual IOP Treats

No two people are the same when it comes to facing mental health challenges, not even if they share the same diagnosis. There are many mental health disorders, but some are more common than others and lend themselves to online treatment. Clear Recovery Center has experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, and some of the ones we see most often are explained below.

If any of these are something you or a loved one is struggling with, please call us at 866.680.0969. We can help you get the virtual treatment you need in a manner that fits your schedule.

Major Depression Disorder (MDD)

While almost everyone has experienced depression from time to time, major depression disorder is a chronic disorder. For those suffering from MDD, nothing seems to dispel the lingering cloud of depression, and it seriously impacts their quality of life. Common indicators may include:

  • Withdrawing from friends and family
  • Loss of interest in activities that were previously enjoyed
  • Declining grades in school
  • Poor performance at work
  • No motivation, even for necessary tasks like personal hygiene

At Clear Recovery Center, our telehealth services in the form of our virtual IOP can address MDD and help you regain a life of enrichment and enjoyment.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

Anxiety is a naturally occurring feeling for most people. It serves a healthy purpose by alerting us to potential dangers in our environment and causes us to focus. However, when the feeling of anxiety becomes all-consuming and prevents people from participating in their daily activities, it may indicate an anxiety disorder. People with GAD experience chronic and excessive worry about a variety of topics, including their personal health, the safety of loved ones, world events, or work.

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health conditions in the United States, affecting 40 million adults aged 18 and older. Clear Recovery Center can provide treatment and support through telehealth services for individuals struggling with anxiety.

Panic Disorder

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder is defined by intense, obsessive behavior. Those with OCD will perform ritualistic behaviors to deal with their unwanted thoughts, events, and urges. OCD obsessions are repetitive and persistent. They will cause individuals extreme discomfort if not completed correctly.

Patients are aware that their thoughts are distressing, but they cannot stop these thoughts. This leads to extreme distress and anxiety. Though some OCD patients might attempt to handle these thoughts/urges independently, the urges will never go away. Many people turn to substances in order to numb or erase their thoughts and behavior. If OCD patients do not receive professional help, they will continue to succumb to their rituals without a sense of control. They will keep having thoughts, use substances to numb them, and their anxiety will return stronger.

Our team at Clear Recovery Center understands how difficult it is to manage obsessive-compulsive thoughts. We are ready to help you or your loved one manage their OCD and regain control of their daily routine.

Burnout and Stress

Burnout is defined by chronic exposure to stress, which can lead to debilitating physical health issues when left untreated. A survey conduced in 2020 revealed that 83% of workers report feeling emotionally drained as a result of work. Feeling of burnout and stress can be caused by a variety of factors, and ignoring the symptoms of stress can lead to them exacerbating, eventually resulting in burnout. Common signs an symptoms of burnout include:

  • Extreme exhaustion
  • Feeling down, lethargic
  • Lack of motivation and creativity
  • Emotional isolation and withdrawal
  • Adopting unhealthy coping mechanisms

Our team at Clear Recovery Center understands how difficult it is to overcome burnout. We are ready to help you or your loved one learn the tools necessary and regain control of their daily routine.

Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar disorder is a mental health disorder that affects a person’s mood. People with bipolar disorder experience extreme highs (mania) and lows (depression).

Depression manifests as despondency, lethargy, and hopelessness. Mania refers to highly emotional actions and risk-taking behaviors. These episodes can occur intermittently but are typically consistent.

These mood swings can interfere with work, school, and relationships. It makes everyday activities difficult.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, also known as PTSD, commonly arises in individuals who have experienced some sort of traumatic event. PTSD can occur in anyone regardless of age, sex, or ethnicity.

Individuals with PTSD experience intense and painful thoughts about their past trauma long after that trauma has passed. They often feel sad, angry, or detached from reality. Because of these negative feelings, people with PTSD will sometimes disengage from their day-to-day lives.

Nightmares and flashbacks can also trigger these intense feelings. Additionally, this traumatic event isn’t always directly related to the person in question. PTSD can occur if the individual is exposed to someone else’s trauma. At Clear Recovery Center, we have experience treating PTSD through our flexible virtual IOP.

In addition to the mental health conditions listed above, we also offer online mental health treatment for the following conditions:

  • Chronic stress and/or fatigue
  • Compassion fatigue
  • fatigue/caregiver burnout
  • Adjustment disorder
  • Occupational burnout
  • Parental burnout

How Our Virtual Intensive Outpatient Programming Works

Admissions process: After an initial phone assessment, you will be placed into one our virtual treatment tracks. From there, you will be assigned a therapist and case manager who will navigate you through the entire process until you graduate.

Only get the virtual treatment you need: the virtual intensive outpatient program meets three time a week, for three hours a day for 8-10 weeks with the option to continue if there is a clinical need.

Our weekly programming includes individual therapy, group therapy, psychoeducation, and mindfulness exercises and activities, as well as psychiatric consults, individual therapy, and case management. We place a strong emphasis on helping clients adopt healthy and adaptable coping mechanisms so they can reintegrate into daily life with a new sense of vitality.

Our approach is multimodal: Our master’s level therapists and counselors are trained to deliver high-quality, evidence based, and multimodal care to our virtual clients. We specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), somatic therapy, and trauma focused therapy.

Aftercare and alumni programming:  We stay strong in our commitment to supporting them in their aftercare once they are discharged. We obtain a release from each willing client to follow-up with them periodically after treatment to ensure they are still participating in their prescribed aftercare plan.
