Medical Leave

Many employees are eligible to take a medical leave to bereave If you or a loved one is struggling with grief and loss, Clear Recovery Center can help. Upon admission, all clients are assessed for medical leave or disability eligibility. Medical notes are provided for those who qualify.

The decision of whether to take a leave of absence is a personal choice that you have to think about. We recommend it, especially if your condition is getting in the way of performing your job, however, it is not an option for everybody.

Whether or not you take time off work, a doctor will often recommend that you be admitted into an outpatient therapy treatment program to maintain your leave for the duration of treatment. You will learn how to identify triggers, incorporate mindfulness-based practices into your routine, recognize unhealthy thoughts and behaviors, and learn coping skills and strategies so you are ready to integrate back into the workforce.

It’s important that you are healthy so that you can perform at your best, and that means both physically and mentally. If you feel yourself struggling with your emotions, consider taking a medical leave and intensive treatment.
